Mrs. Milligan
Dear West Families,

All of us at Middle School West are truly excited about starting the 2019-2020 school year on Monday!  It will be nice to fill the building with our students’ excitement, smiles, and laughter.

Reminders:  New and returning students typically arrive at West between 7:25 and 7:40; between 7:40 and 7:50, they will proceed to their homerooms to begin the day/week.  We will hold homeroom, grade-level, and cafeteria meetings on the first day of school to review building information and positive behavior/academic expectations.  Important – the cafeteria will be open to students for breakfast items at 7:25. If you are planning to drive your child, please enter the parking lot in front of the auditorium.  (The bus lot is in front of the cafeteria.) Our physical education teachers will be in the drop-off lot to direct traffic, students, assist, etc.

New Faculty and Staff:  West would like to welcome two additional faculty and staff members:  Kate Castonguay, French 6-8; and Shelley Feathers, 1:1 Paraprofessional.

Special thanks to our sixth-grade parents and students for attending Sixth-grade Orientation last evening.  We hope you enjoyed meeting our teachers, counselors, ambassadors, and administrators and familiarizing yourselves with the building.  (We have posted the spring PowerPoint as well as last evening’s Google Slides presentations on our website.)
