About Reading Olympics Library Assistants

Reading Olympics Library Assistants is a program designed to promote reading, teamwork, self-confidence and fun! The club members work as a team to collectively read approximately 40 books over the course of the year and compete in a reading competition in the spring. Students also provide community service in the form of helping in the Middle School West Library and serving as ambassadors of West as we host an elementary MCIU Reading Olympics competition.
